NFL: After one week: L. A.

Kasim Edebali’s guest appearance at the Los Angeles Rams was of a brief nature: the Rams dismissed the Hamburg player only one week after his engagement.

Edebali did not play in any of the games for the Rams, but the 28-year-old is already the third dismissal this season: Edebali, who is still under contract with the New Orleans Saints until the end of the pre-season, started the season at Denver Broncos. In spite of his early playing practice, he was unable to assert himself there and was finally released in mid-November.

A short time later, the Detroit Lions struck and committed Edebali only to release him in mid-December. The Rams took him back shortly before Christmas, but this tour is now over.

Edebali played only 55 defensive snaps for Denver in total and was mainly used in the Special Team (163 snaps) in Mile High. At the Lions he played 47 defensive snaps in a shorter period of time, but only twelve snaps in the special team.
