NHL: Defeat for Kühnhackl, Draisaitl with Edmonton successful

Tom Kühnhackl has suffered a bitter bankruptcy with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Stanley Cup winner of the past two seasons lost 4-0 to Carolina Hurricanes.

On the other hand, Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers returned to the road to success after four defeats in a row. The Canadians won against the Anaheim Ducks 2:1 after penalty shooting.

Kühnhackl came up with nine minutes of play. Edmonton’s Draisaitl remained without a score point. Korbinian Holzer was not used for Anaheim.

Despite two drafts by Dennis Seidenberg, the New York Islanders claimed their fourth consecutive defeat. At the 4:6 at the Philadelphia Flyers the Russian Ivan Proworow was with two goals and an Assist Matchwinner for the Flyers. The 26 parades of national goalkeeper Thomas Greiss in the gate of the Islanders could not prevent defeat either.

Tobias Rieder stayed out of the game in a 3-2 win over Nashville Predators after the Arizona Coyotes’ extra time.
