European Handball Championship: Vujovic at 180: Slovenia considers withdrawing from the European Championship

After the video proof drama against Germany and the protest refused by the EHF, the Slovenes are still mightily pissed off. Coach Veselin Vujovic is trailing against the referees.

As reported by the Slovenian news agency STA, citing leading officials of the Slovenian handball federation, the Slovenians are so angry that they are seriously considering withdrawing from the European Championship and refusing to compete against Montenegro for the final preliminary round game on Wednesday.

On Monday, Slovenia had won a seven-metre equaliser against the DHB team after the time had elapsed. The Lithuanian arbitrators found an irregularity after the application of the video evidence.

National coach Veselin Vujovic was so pissed off that he scored for a short time and Tobias Reichmann was unable to finish the seven-metre 25:25 for quite some time.
