NFL: Seahawks confirm: New offensive and defensive coordinator arrive

The Seattle Seahawks are in fact undergoing a complete overhaul: having been dismissed by offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, as well as O-line coach and co-head coach Tom Cable, the Hawks also presented their new defensive coordinator on Tuesday.

As the team announced, Ken Norton will take over Jr. the post of defensive coordinator for Kris Richard. In the past few days it has already been reported that Richard can look for alternative jobs.

Norton was Seattle’s linebacker coach from 2010 to 2014, before becoming defensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders in 2015. Not until 8. Schottenheimer was already the offensive coordinator of the Jets (2006 to 2011) and the Rams (2012 to 2014) in the NFL, most recently he worked as quarterback coach of the Indianapolis Colts. His main task will be to give the offense a concrete identity in which Russell Wilson functions – in contrast to the recent past, when Wilson too often had to carry the offense almost on his own.
