That seems to have annoyed the Knicks star a little bit:”The players know,”Porzingis is said to have said according to ESPN.”That’s all I’m saying.”

Porzingis hopes, however, that he will be put in reserve by the coaches. The results of this election will be announced next Tuesday.

“I hope so,”said the Latvian.”In my opinion, I deserve it. All I have to do is play well and win games, and the results will come out on their own.”

Porzingis has hung up 23.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.4 blocks in 39 games for the Knicks (20-25) so far this season. Embiid scored 23.9 points, 11 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 blocks in 32 games for the Sixers (21-20).
