NBA: Barea attacks Wall after his dwarf insult:”His teammates don’t like him.”

J.J. Barea from the Dallas Mavericks and John Wall from the Washington Wizards clashed in a direct duel. After the game, they continued to attack each other through the media.

In the fourth quarter of the Mavs victory against the Wizards, Barea got a technical foul after he had clashed with John Wall. Speaking about the incident, Wall said after the game:”He’s just a little dwarf who tried to get angry. I won’t pay any attention to him.”

This quote was then passed on to Barea, who rated it as “very funny” at first – but then shot back:”Now I finally have someone in the NBA who I don’t like. But I don’t think this feeling is new to him, because even his teammates don’t like him.”

Wall had given his team mates a Rolex for Christmas. Nevertheless, there seem to be mood swings in the team. A recent team meeting had gone backwards.
