NBA: Media: Love is attacked by fellow players

The Cleveland Cavaliers held a team meeting because of their crisis. According to media reports, this one was heated. Kevin Love is said to have caused the players’ anger.

This is reported by ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski. Accordingly, there was a team meeting on Monday in the training facility of the Cavs. It is said to have been loud and fierce, especially Kevin Love had drawn the displeasure of his fellow players.

The reason for this was that he had left the hall prematurely because he had felt ill when he beat OKC Thunder on Saturday. He also missed the training on Sunday. The other players were probably upset by this: they questioned the truth behind Loves explanation for his absence and asked the front office to act.

The situation at the meeting – where coach Tyronn Lue and GM Koby Altman are said to have been present – only calmed down after Love took the floor and explained himself in detail. The team is said to have accepted most of these statements after all. However, there are supposed to be other moods that divide the Cavaliers’ Locker Room. Also Isaiah Thomas, Coach Lue and the Front Office are said to have been approached harshly.
