NBA: Media: Several teams are interested in DeMarre Carroll

Brooklyn Nets’ DeMarre Carroll has been reportedly attracting the interest of several teams. The veteran has revived his career in New York.”

As Newsday reports, the Nets may be able to make one or two moves before the trade deadline. The forward carroll, which was only fetched in the summer, could also become part of a trade.

Among others, the Detroit Pistons and the New Orleans Pelicans are said to be interested in the 31-year-old. He has been playing in Brooklyn since last summer and currently averages 13 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists. All these are career highs.

His contract runs until 2019 and brings him up to 15.4 million dollars a year. He himself recently said to the trade rumours about his person:”I am old enough not to pay attention to such things. But you can be positive: Last year in Toronto I was still considered a salary dump because I had to fight with injuries. Now there are obviously several teams that want me.”
