NHL: Ducks back on track for success with Holzer
With the German national ice hockey player Korbinian Holzer, the Anaheim Ducks have returned to a successful track in the North American professional league NHL.
The Ducks’ first match with the Buffalo Sabres in two weeks was a 4:3 after extra time and the Ducks ended their negative series of three defeats at the Buffalo Sabres. Holzer stood in his 14th birthday. Season game 8:58 minutes on the ice.
In the meantime, Holzer’s national team mate Tom Kühnhackl worked only short-time for Pittsburgh Penguins, defending champions. In the NHL champion’s 5-4 win over the Vegas Golden Knights, the 26-year-old only had 108 seconds to play.
National goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer was not on the ice at all when Washington Capitals won the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2. Grubauer had to let his rival Braden Holtby take the lead after his decisive mistake in the previous 3-4 defeat against the Golden Knights.
