Olympia 2018: Rebensburg: Pyeongchang are my last games.

Ski racer Viktoria Rebensburg wants to end her career before the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in 2022:”South Korea, that will be my last Olympic Games,”said the giant slalom Olympic champion of 2010 to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.

Rebensburg, who also won bronze in her 2014 showpiece discipline, will enter the giant slalom on Monday in Pyeongchang as the top favourite. However, she does not want to end her career in the event of another gold medal.

“I have indeed thought about it for the last few months, but definitely: no! That’s not gonna happen. I still have so much fun, love my sport and enjoy it, it doesn’t depend on the Olympics for me,”said the 28-year-old.
