Olympia 2018: Iraschko-Stolz jumps to 6th place, gold for Norwegian Lundby

Ski jumper Daniela Iraschko-Stolz has missed the medal ranks at the Olympic Games in South Korea in sixth place. The silver medallist from 2014 was in third place on Monday in Alpensia with a shortfall of almost 18 points. Maren Lundby won gold, the Norwegian won ahead of Katharina Althaus from Germany and Sara Takanashi from Japan.

Iraschko-Stolz was also preceded by German defending champion Carina Vogt and neutral Russian Irina Awwakumowa. Chiara Hölzl as eleventh and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger as 13th. did not play a role in the medal ceremony.

This means that Austria will still be holding a medal after three days of competition. Rodler David Gleirscher sensationally won gold on Sunday
