NBA: Media: Wizards thinking about Lawson commitment
According to media reports, the Washington Wizards are supposed to think about Ty Lawson’s commitment. The Point Guard, which is currently working for Shangdong Lions in China, could close the gap of the backup gamer.
This was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. As the season is over for Lawson in China with Shangdong, Lawson could move directly to the NBA. The Guard, who played for the Sacramento Kings last year, scored 55 points in his last game in the CBA.
Meanwhile, the Wizards are still looking for a guard, as John Wall will be missing even longer after his knee surgery. Derrick Rose was also last traded as a possible candidate. The option to bring Lawson in, however, is apparently being seriously examined right now. Other candidates are according to ESPN Briante Weber and Ramon Sessions.
Lawson also played for the nuggets, rockets, pacers and kings in his career. In his year in Sacramento, the little Guard spent an average of 9.9 points and 4.8 assists.
