Olympia 2018: Storm warning for Coastal Cluster: Olympic Park crippled

Due to strong winds, the organizing committee of the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang has stopped all activities in the Olympic Park of Gangneung for Wednesday.

Spectators in the coastal areas were called upon not to leave the halls in the early afternoon. In the park there were objects flying around, benches overturned.

The temporarily erected media tents were closed after the storm warning, journalists had to continue working in the press areas of the halls. Safety always has priority, the Organizing Committee told POCOG.
