Olympia 2018: Lara Gut cleans up photographers after crash

For the Swiss Lara Gut, the first round in the women’s giant slalom ended very unhappy. The 26-year-old slipped away on the inner ski and slid towards the safety net. And to make matters worse, Gut also took some photographers off the track. Fortunately, everyone involved remained unharmed.
After the first round, Manuela Mölgg leads the field. The South Tyrolean rider leads in Yongpyong 0.20 seconds ahead of Mikaela Shiffrin from the USA and the Italian Federica Brignone (0.29). The best Austrian is Stephanie Brunner as ninth (0.91), she is missing about six tenths of a podium finish. Click here for the Liveticker.
