Olympic Games 2018: Austrian luge relay team wins bronze medal

Austria’s tobogganists won the bronze medal at the Olympic team relay in Alpensia on Thursday. Madeleine Egle, David Gleirscher and Peter Penz/Georg Fischler only lost 0.471 seconds to the Olympic champions from Germany and 0.116 seconds to Canada.

This completes the medal set for the ÖRV athletes in these games. Gleirscher had previously won gold in the individual competition, after which there was silver for Penz/Fischler in the double-seater.
