Olympia 2018: Program: Another two alpine races in one day
At the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, two Alpine ski races are to take place for the third time in one day.
Due to the unfavourable weather forecast with strong winds, the combination of the women in Jeongseon will be brought forward from Friday to Thursday. The departure is to be started at 11.00 a. m. OZ/3.00 a. m. CET (in the LIVETICKER) and the slalom at 3.00 p. m./7.00 p. m..
The men’s special slalom is scheduled for the same day in Yongpyong. The first run starts at 10:00 a. m. OZ/2:00 a. m. CET, the second at 1:30 p. m. OZ/5:30 p. m. CET. At the winter games in Pyeongchang the men’s and women’s giant slalom as well as the men’s super-G and women’s slalom had already taken place in one day.
The departure of the women on Wednesday (11.00 o’ clock OZ/3.00 o’ clock CET) is not endangered. The eleventh and final decision for the alpine competitions in South Korea on Saturday (11.00 a. m. OZ/3.00 a. m. CET) is the team competition, which will be held for the first time at the Olympic Games.
