Skistar Lindsey Vonn has declared war on the critics’ social profiles on the Internet.

“My family is here, they love me, but of course there are also people who hate me and hope that I drive down a cliff and die. But I’m not going to do that,”Vonn said on Monday after the second training for the Olympic downhill on Wednesday (3:00 a. m. at the LIVETICKER) in Pyeongchang and laughed.

She will not hold back despite the most desolate comments on the net, she emphasized:”The tyrants only want that, they want to get you ready, but I am not finished, I hold fast to my values, I will not give in”.

Sometimes she can only laugh and think in the face of the evil insults “that is completely ridiculous”.

Vonn had once again been sharply attacked after her sixth place in the Olympic Super-G competition. For the extreme right in the US, the 33-year-old has been an object of hatred ever since she criticised President Donald Trump.

“I may not be so open about my opinion right now, but that doesn’t mean they won,”Vonn said,”I haven’t changed my mind.”

Vonn was in a good mood on Monday, but also shed tears. A reporter from the Norwegian daily Aftenposten showed her a film with pictures of her Norwegian relatives, on which Vonn saw her grandfather Don, who had died in November.”This is my grandfather!
