NBA: Butler of the Timberwolves suffers miniscus injury
Jimmy Butler of the Minnesota Timberwolves injured himself in the game against the Houston Rockets. On Saturday, the results of his MRI investigation were published. The Guard must have been lucky in the accident.
Butler suffered an injury to the miniskus of his right knee, as the Timberwolves reported via Twitter. It could have been much worse, at first a cruciate ligament rupture had been feared at the forward.
However, it is not yet known what injury to the meniscus Butler suffered and how long he will be absent.
Butler has 22.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5 assists this season. He led the Timberwolves together with Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins to fourth place at the Western Conference.
Minnesota has three games ahead of the Clippers on 9th place. Place. Utah Jazz, which are four and a half games behind Wolves, are in 10th place.
