Olympia 2018: Team competition: Austria wins silver medal

Austria’s alpine ski team won the silver medal at the Olympic premiere of the mixed team competition at the winter games in Pyeongchang.

In the final there was a 3-1 defeat against Olympic champion Switzerland. Norway won the bronze medal after a 2-2 draw in the small final against France due to the better time.

In the final, Katharina Liensberger brought Austria into the lead against Denise Feierabend, Michael Matt with a goal error, Katharina Gallhuber with the weaker time and Marco Schwarz with a loss lost their duels.
