NBA: Player consultant Dan Fegan dies after car accident
Renowned gaming consultant Dan Fegan died in a car accident in Colorado on Sunday. His car collided with a bus on Highway 82 near Aspen.
“The NBA mourns the loss of long-time agent Dan Fegan,”the League announced in a statement.”Our thoughts and prayers are now with his family in this difficult time.”
According to a police unit, Fegan’s SUV collided with the bus when Fegan tried to drive on the highway. In addition to Fegan, an unknown 29-year-old woman and the consultant’s five-year-old son were also in the car. The two were seriously injured and taken by helicopter to a hospital in Denver. The bus driver and the only passenger were not injured.
For years, Fegan was one of the most important agents in the league. Amongst others he represented John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Dwight Howard, DeAndre Jordan, Chandler Parsons or Ricky Rubio. Last March, however, Fegan lost almost all of his youngsters because a player consultant company sued him for non-compliance with agreements.
