NFL: Titans commit ex-patriots Cornerback Malcolm Butler to NFL

The Tennessee Titans continue to invest in their Secondary: after last year’s Logan Ryan and the Draft Adoree’ Jackson, there was now the big fish: The Titans have reached an agreement with Malcolm Butler.

NFL network insider Ian Rapoport reports that Butler in Tennessee will receive a five-year contract worth up to 61 million dollars. According to reports, a good 30 million dollars are guaranteed.

In the Titans, Butler will be reunited with three ex-patriots: In addition to Logan Ryan, the new head coach Mike Vrabel and Titans managing director Jon Robinson also have a patriot past. In addition to Tennessee, Houston, New Orleans, the Jets and Detroit were reportedly also specifically interested in the cornerback.

Butler’s market was fascinating in that no one really knows what happened around the Super Bowl.
