Shortstop Jorge Polanco of the Minnesota Twins will be banned for 80 games. The team mate of the German Max Kepler was tested positive for Stanozolol, an anabolic steroid, and receives the penalty for a first offence.

The substance I had requested from my fitness trainer in the Dominican Republic and agreed to take was a combination of vitamin B12 and an iron supplement, something that is not unusual or illegal for professional athletes. Unfortunately, what I was given was not this supplement. “And I take full responsibility for what is inside my body.”
