NHL: Rieder ties up double pack – Oilers with clear victory

National player Tobias Rieder celebrated another important victory in the fight for play-off participation in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings. The 25-year-old scored two goals in a 7-1 draw with Colorado Avalanche, the outstanding Anze Kopitar scored four times. With this victory the Kings climbed back to third place in the Pacific Division, the best three teams qualify directly for the championship round.

The exceptional German player Leon Draisaitl says goodbye to the regular season with the Edmonton Oilers. The Canadians, who no longer have a chance at the play-offs, won 6-2 against the Ottawa Senators. Superstar Connor McDavid scored two goals and presented two.

Goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer saved his Washington Capitals 1-0 at the Detroit Red Wings with 39 parades. The Capitals extended their lead in the Metropolitan Division to four points over the second-placed Pittsburgh Penguins with Tom Kühnhackl.
