NBA: Durant announces return for next game

Kevin Durant will be back on the court in the next game for the Golden State Warriors. This was confirmed by the forward before the game against the Indiana Pacers.

“I will play on Thursday,” told KD ESPN reporter Chris Haynes. According to coach Steve Kerr, Durant wanted to play Indiana, but Kerr prevented that. However, the Warriors boss announced that he would “probably” let Durant play on Thursday.

The 29-year-old has been missing since the age of 14. March, after he contracted a rib fracture. Since KD was missing, the Dubs reached a score of 2-4. Besides KD, the other three All-Stars are injured at the moment. Stephen Curry (inner ligament) will probably also be missing at the beginning of the playoffs, while the return of Klay Thompson (thumbs) and Draymond Green (flu) is approaching.

Durant has played 60 games this season so far, with the current final MVP playing 26.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.9 blocks per game.
