MLB: Trout wins ninth home run of the year with space jam trick

Mike Trout hit his ninth home run of the season against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. Los Angeles Angels Center Fielder leads the MLB. Now it seems clear why he hits so many home runs.

Trout has now hit 210 home runs in his career and has reached the 30 home run mark four times in his seven years to date. He could make a lot more home runs this season than he has in a single season.

The secret behind his enhanced power seems to have been revealed. Cameras discovered on the weekend that Trout had a drinking bottle with the inscription “Michael’s Secret Stuff”, from which he ate a red drink.

“Michael’s Secret Stuff” on the other hand is known from the movie “Space Jam”, in which Michael Jordan plays basketball with a group “Looney Toons”, led by Bugs Bunny. And to motivate his team, Bugs fills a water bottle with water and labels it “Michael’s Secret Stuff”. The Angels seem to have imitated this with red Gatorade.

With success, as can be seen from the season so far.
