NBA: Media: Jamal Crawford does not withdraw option and becomes a free agent

Jamal Crawford will become a free agent in the summer, according to media reports. According to the veteran of the Minnesota Timberwolves, he decided not to withdraw his player option for the coming year.

This is reported by Chris Haynes of ESPN. Accordingly, he will not withdraw his $4.5 million option on Shooting Guard. Last summer, Crawford signed a two-year contract for a total of $9 million in Minnesota after agreeing a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks.

The 38-year-old becomes a free agent in the summer and can join any team. During his 18 years in the NBA, Crawford played for a total of seven different franchises (Chicago, New York, Golden State, Atlanta, Portland, L.A. Clippers, Minnesota) and was the only player in history to receive three Sixth Man of the Year awards.

In the 2017/18 season, the microwave from the bench scored 10.3 points per game, hitting 47 percent of its throws.
