NBA: Rozier after bankruptcy against Cavs: “needed that kick in the ass”
The Boston Celtics have lost Game 3 in Cleveland more markedly. For Point Guard Terry Guard, this was the perfect time to wake up. The other Celtics are also critical, but at the same time optimistic.
“We needed that kick in the butt,” Rozier said after the game. The Guard also indicated that after the first two convincing victories in Boston, the Celtics were a little too sure. “We have returned to reality. I think we needed this for Monday’s game.”
Team-mate Al Horford also agreed with Rozier. “If you don’t play as a team and don’t play as planned, things like this happen.” Horford himself had a very weak evening with only 7 points in 4 litters. “Cleveland played really well today and were the better team.”
This was also similar to coach Brad Stevens, who took his men to court. “We definitely weren’t the team that played harder and better together today,” Stevens said. “That was Cleveland and they deserve all respect for it. They moved the ball well and played hard in defense.”
Jaylen Brown also confirmed that the Celtics had simply played a bad game and was therefore confident about Game 4: “I am still convinced of us. I believe in our team, I believe in coaching. We’re fine.”
Game 4 takes place in the night from Monday to Tuesday at 2.30 a.m. (live on DAZN).
