NBA: The knee! Warriors fear for Iguodala
Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors is down. For game 4 (Wednesday, 3 o’clock live on DAZN) he could drop out with a knee injury.
This was announced by the Dubs in a statement. According to the report, Iguodala injured his knee when he clashed with James Harden during the clear victory in game 3. Therefore, he is listed with a bruise as “questionable” for game 4.
Insider Shams Charania of The Vertical further writes that an x-ray of Iguodala’s knee was negative. This means, after all, that it will not be out of action in the long term.
The Small Forward acts as a starter for the dubs in the current playoffs and averages 7.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists. His failure would hurt especially in the defense. Big Man Kevon Looney or wing player Nick Young would be candidates to represent Iggy in the Starting Five.
