NBA: Playoffs: Kevin Love misses Cavs in game 7 in Boston
Kevin Love will be missing from the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the Boston Celtics on Monday night (from 2:30 a.m. at LIVESTREAM FOR FREE on SPOX). The Big Man had a concussion in game six.
Love clashed with Jayson Tatum from the Celtics in the first quarter and had to leave the game after just five minutes.
On Saturday, the Cavaliers announced that Love had been diagnosed with symptoms of a concussion – he is now subject to the so-called “Concussion Protocol” and may not play again until he passes a series of tests.
Without Love the task for the Cavs around superstar LeBron James becomes even more difficult. With a 109:99 they had balanced the set on Friday 3-3. So far, however, all three away games have been lost and Game 7 will take place again in Boston.
It’s not the first concussion for Love: He had already missed a game in the 2016 finals due to a concussion, this year the team missed him in March.
