NFL: Ex-Patriot Marsh criticizes: “They have no fun”
Cassius Marsh was traded by the New England Patriots to the San Francisco 49ers during the last season. Now the Defensive End has provided insights behind the scenes of the Patriots. Apparently Marsh wasn’t having any fun.
“You’re not having fun. Absolutely nothing is fun there,” Marsh told the San Francisco Chronicle. “I didn’t like the time there at all. “For the first time in my life, I even thought about quitting playing football because I hated it so much.”
Marsh said he was very unhappy that he had to play in the linebacker position.
“I confronted Belichick with everything I thought about the situation,” Marsh continued. “I don’t want to go into details, but I didn’t like what the team had done. So without really saying it, I actually asked for a cut. I was confident enough to know I could get a chance with another team.”
“They asked me to do things I had never done before,” Marsh continued. “I should defend running backs or receivers and hardly ever attack the quarterback. What I’d always done on the defensive line.”
Marsh was quite aware of the evoked Shitstorm, who expected him on his social media account.
The Defensive End went to the 49ers after his release from the Patriots in November. Here he played 11 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in 6 games. Marsh will continue to play an important role in San Francisco next season and is looking forward to it: “I hope I’ll stay a niner forever.
