NBA: Anxiety triggers time-out for Cavaliers coach Lue
Tyronn Lue, head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, had anxiety as the reason for his two-week time-out.
Lue made his first public statement on Thursday, shortly before the start of the final series between his team and the Golden State Warriors, in an interview with the TV station ESPN.
“It was just fear, and I’m happy it wasn’t anything more serious,” Lue said. By changing his lifestyle and taking medication, he now feels healthy again.
Lue first resigned from the Cavaliers in mid-March because of chest pain. About two weeks later, however, the former professional returned to the bank after an interim treatment with the team of superstar LeBron James.
Lues Klub is in the NBA finals for the fourth time. For the fourth time in a row, the Golden State Warriors are the opponents. The Warriors won the title in 2015 and 2017, Cleveland triumphed in 2016.
