NBA: Rondo and Green clash again
In Game 3 between the Pelicans and Warriors, Rajon Rondo and Draymond Green clashed again. Afterwards they both tried to blame each other.
In a match break, when both teams were on their way to their bank, Rondo tried to climb onto the foot of Green. Green immediately turned to Rondo, but the situation calmed down quickly.
It wasn’t the first time in the series that they clashed. In game 1 Rondo did not like the way Green celebrated an And-one-Play and confronted him.
In game 2 there was also a curious action: After the first of two free throws from Green Rondo grabbed the ball and wiped his face sweat on it before returning it.
Green said at the press conference after game 3: “It’s not Draymond Green who provokes someone here this time. I’ve done it with a lot of people and I’ve had some success with it.” This time, however, the argument starts with Rondo. Green is trying to “chill out and play basketball.”
Rondo was also questioned and said: “Such a thing is his thing. I’m not trying to provoke him. He talks a lot of shit. But that’s part of it. I’m just trying to reach its intensity.”
