NBA: Suns: No.1-Pick in Trade for Leonard?

With the No.1 pick at the upcoming draft, the Phoenix Suns have an extremely valuable asset – which they could use to trade for the changeable Kawhi Leonard. However, an insider contradicts this theory.

Shortly after Kawhi Leonard’s trade request became known, various media reported that the Suns would seek the double defensive player often he year from the San Antonio Spurs.

Among others, The Ringer named a possible trade package consisting of the No.1 pick 2018, Josh Jackson, Dragan Bender and another future first round pick.

Scott Bordow of AZ Central, however, contradicts this theory. Thus, the Suns are by no means considering giving up the No.1 pick – neither in a trade for Kawhi Leonard, nor in other possible scenarios.
