NBA: Porter: “I’m a mixture of Durant and Giannis”
Michael Porter Jr. is regarded as the great unknown in the draft due to his long injury break. But the forward is still confident and compares his game with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant.
“At the moment I am a mixture of Giannis and KD,” Porter described his game on CBS Sports Radio. “I attack the basket a little more than Durant and am also a little more physical than KD,” Porter continued.
The forward was considered the best prospect in his class after high school before injuring his back in his first college game for Missouri and only playing two games at the end of the season.
For his size Porter has a remarkably good litter, which in his opinion is much better than Giannis Antetokounmpo’s, with whom he also compared himself. “People also draw parallels with Tracy McGrady and me, I like that. I think these are three great players, which is why I like to be mentioned in one breath with them.”
It’s completely unclear which team Porter will go to. There have been some rumours recently that the Kings were interested in No.2. However, Sacramento probably favors Marvin Bagley III. More likely the Chicago Bulls could take at No.7 Porter.
