NFL: Supplemental Draft: Two NFL teams take up the challenge
The New York Giants and Washington Redskins each picked a cornerback in the 2018 NFL Supplemental Draft. This is the first time since 2010 that several players have been selected for the Supplemental Draft.
In round three, the Giants chose Sam Beal from Western Michigan University. The 21-year-old shone last year above all through his passport interference qualities, he recorded two interceptions.
The Redskins chose Adonis Alexander in the sixth draft round. The 21-year-old comes from Virginia Tech. The 1.90 m tall has already made some disciplinary mistakes, but his talent finally convinced the Redskins.
Prospects Brandon Bryant, Martayveus Carter and Bright Ugwoegbu were also considered possible picks, but they were not chosen by any team. They remain available as free agents for every NFL team.
