NBA: Media: Leonard DeRozan exchange hotly debated

Kawhi Leonard could soon be traded to the Toronto Raptors according to media reports. These are therefore in serious talks with the San Antonio Spurs. DeMar DeRozan would be the equivalent.

This is reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Thus, a trade from Leonard to the Raptors is hotly debated between the parties. In exchange, DeRozan is to migrate from Canada to Texas.

The rumor is new that the Raptors are trying to find Leonard, but not – but now it seems to become concrete. The risk of Canadians is also known: Leonard’s gonna be a free agent in 2019, and he probably wants to join the Lakers. He could do this next year.

28-year-old DeRozan, however, has a contract until 2021 (player option last year). The Raptors run the risk of “sacrificing” their star player for a one-year rent.
