NBA: Mega-offer for D-Wade from China?

Dwyane Wade is still a free agent. It is not yet clear whether the 36-year-old will continue or sign with the Miami Heat again. But there is also a third option: According to Chinese media reports, the Xinjiang Flying Tigers want to lead D-Wade into the Middle Kingdom.

According to Chinese journalist Zhang Duo, the Flying Tigers Wade have submitted a “monster offer”. For three years Wade would probably collect 25 million dollars, which would be more than he would get from the Heat at that time.

Wade has also recently been on a marketing tour in China and signed a lifetime contract with the Chinese shoe company Li-Ning. Meanwhile, the company has been equipping Flash for six years, which has fuelled rumors that Wade could possibly end his career in China.

Wade’s good friend from the Heat, Udonis Haslem, was also in China and flirted with an engagement in the CBA.

Wade returned to the Heat in mid-February after a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers and played 21 more games in the Regular Season. The Shooting Guard scored an average of 12 points during this period, sinking 44.3 percent of his shots. Wade made his best game in the playoffs when he scored 28 points in game 2 of the first round at the Philadelphia 76ers, the only heat victory in the series.
