NBA: Warriors owner accuses teams of inefficiency
The Golden State Warriors have won three of the last four championships. But they are not full in the Bay Area yet. Owner Joe Lacob now announced that the hunger for success is still there. He also criticized the rest of the league for dealing with DeMarcus’ cousins.
“We’re still hungry,” said Lacob Ethan Strauss of The Athletic. “That should worry people when it’s important to them.”
Since Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, the Warriors have now won both titles and lost just six play-off games. Now DeMarcus cousins is coming to the Bay Area to help create the rare tree beat. Due to its Achilles tendon rupture, the center will probably only be able to intervene in the new year.
That the Warriors got boogie at all, explained the Warriors owner with the lack of competence with other teams. “There is much inefficiency in the NBA. Other teams could have had cousins, but they didn’t,” Lacob said. “That’s the way it is. There will always be opportunities, but there will also be inefficiency.”
