NFL: Colts: Luck must be playing at Preseason Opener
Andrew Luck’s return to the football field is taking shape. Frank Reich, coach of the Indianapolis Colts, wants to send the quarterback on the field at the preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
“If he can train out there, he’s ready to play,” Reich told the Indianapolis star on Wednesday. Apparently the quarterback wasn’t spared a bit during practice.
The Colts will have their preseason opener on August 9 against the Seattle Seahawks. Here Luck could be back on the football field for the first time in almost two years.
Luck had to suspend the entire 2017 season because he had to undergo shoulder surgery shortly before the start of the season due to recurring shoulder problems. Previously, the 28-year-old threw in three of the four seasons in which he played at least 15 games for over 4,000 yards.
