NBA: Media: Knicks want to trade Guard

Courtney Lee is actually under contract with the New York Knicks for another two years, but he may be playing with another team next season.

According to a New York Post report, the Knicks tried to trade the 32-year-old shooting guard over the summer. One reason for this is that they want to make room for Tim Hardaway Jr. in his traditional position – last season he mostly had to play Small Forward alongside Lee.

Lee has played for the Magic, Nets, Rockets, Celtics, Grizzlies and Hornets throughout his career. His biggest success so far was a final with Orlando in 2009, his rookie season.
