NBA: Is Andrew Bynum working on his comeback?
Andrew Bynum, once a member of two Los Angeles Lakers championship teams, is probably working on his comeback. The 30-year-old wants to try himself again in the NBA and therefore wants to offer himself in workouts.
This is reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic. The now 30-year-old has already hired a consultant and wants to present himself to various teams in workouts.
The center last played in the 2013/14 season, when it played for both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers. Bynum had his most successful time with the Lakers, who made him a lottery pick in 2005.
The Big won two titles with L.A. and was appointed to the All-Star Team in 2011/12. Bynum played 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds this season, but was shipped to Philadelphia shortly afterwards as part of the Dwight-Howard trade.
As a result, Bynum had problems with his knee time and again, which is why the center only played 26 games in its career.
