Even after Luol Deng’s appointment, the Minnesota Timberwolves are probably not yet finished with their squad. According to The Athletic, the franchise is currently looking at other veterans.

Following the commitment of Deng, who signed for $2.4 million with the Lakers after his buyout, the Wolves are currently in the squad of 14 players and apparently they want to fill that gap.

Minnesota is said to be interested in Joakim Noah should he also agree on a buyout with the Knicks, but Dane More (Zone Coverage) says the Frenchman is currently unlikely to be obliged.

A trio of veterans could still get a chance. According to the report, Monta Ellis, Brandon Rush and Brandon Paul, among others, will perform with the Wolves in the coming days.

Rush, who won the Warriors championship in 2015, played for the Wolves in 2016/17, but was not employed last season for Milwaukee or Portland, where he signed a 10-day contract in February. Paul played for the Spurs last season, and Ellis was released by the Pacers before the start of the season, but is still hoping for an NBA comeback.
