MLB: NY gets superstar back – partly!

The New York Yankees have activated superstar Aaron Judge from the Disabled List. However, the outfielder is still not allowed to hit after his wrist fracture. However, a full comeback is in sight.

The Yankees have already activated Judge on Friday with the hint that he will be available as a pinch runner and defensive upgrade in the right field. He made his comeback on Friday when he defeated the Blue Jays and finally played in the outfield.

A return to the record was still impossible, however, as Judge needed further training, as the team explained. But a return to the lineup is at least close at hand.

Maybe it’s enough for Judge, in the series against the Boston Red Sox, which starts on Tuesday, to fully return. Faced with this theory, Manager Aaron Boone said on Sunday: “This is potentially on schedule, but we have not yet reached that point.

Boone added: “I am not yet ready to make this decision. But about that time, we’ll be close. I expect he’ll be fully active again sometime in this home series if nothing goes wrong.”

On Monday Judge will play a simulated game in Yankee Stadium and compete against “real” pitching. On Sunday Judge said that he no longer felt any pain: “While swinging? No, I’m fine. It’s been feeling good for a while.”
