MLB: Wrong bills? Trump disst L.A. Skipper
The Los Angeles Dodgers lost game 4 of the World Series with 6:9 against the Boston Red Sox. But that’s not all: Manager Dave Roberts then faced greater criticism for his bullpen management. His most high-ranking critic was even US President Donald J. Trump.
Roberts made a head shake with his decision to change Starting Pitcher Rich Hill after only one out in the seventh inning. That was also the beginning of the end for his team, the Red Sox turned the game around after a 4-0 deficit.
A chain of unfortunate circumstances for the Dodgers, which also earned Roberts the title “Flop of the Game” in the SPOX analysis.
But Donald Trump also felt compelled to reveal his expertise: “I’m watching the last innings of the game Dodgers – Red Sox. It’s amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher that’s as loose and dominant over seven innings as Rich Hill of the Dodgers. And then he brings nervous relievers that get beaten up. Four-run lead gone. Managers do that again and again. Big mistake!”
