The clash between the two best fighters in UFC history kept what it promised – and most of all, it affected the face of the Polish woman.

Jedrzejczyk suffers a huge bump on the forehead
In round three, Zhang Weili, who ended up defending her title after a split decision, took command and unloaded a series of powerful punch combinations on her opponent.

These caused such an enormous swelling on her forehead that her face was hardly recognisable. Both opponents were taken directly to hospital after the fight.

White: “Did you see what these girls looked like?
So the obligatory press conference was cancelled, instead UFC President Dana White faced the media.

Asked about a possible rematch, White reacted irritated. “Did you see what those two girls looked like after that fight? They need to go home, take some time to recover before I mention a fight with one of them,” said the 50-year-old.
