Pro Bowl moves to new Vegas stadium
After four years in Orlando, the Pro Bowl has a new home: After the Raiders, the NFL All-Star Game is moving to Las Vegas.
The Pro Bowl, the NFL’s annual all-star game, will be held in Las Vegas in 2021.
The game will be played on January 31 at the 1.8 billion dollar Allegiant Stadium, the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The NFL announced that on Tuesday. Since 2017, the Pro Bowl had been held four times in a row in Orlando.
In April the draft should have taken place at the new NFL location Las Vegas, because of the Corona pandemic the talent distribution took place virtually. The Raiders, until now at home in Oakland, will play their home games in the gamblers’ paradise starting next season.
Las Vegas is the eleventh venue in Pro Bowl history. From 1950 to 1969 they played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, then in Dallas, Miami and Hawaii, among others.
