Raiders-Stadium passes toilet test

The new stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders cost a bizarre sum. Now the toilets are undergoing a stress test – with positive results.

The new stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders has successfully passed the important “toilet test”.

This means that the arena, which costs around two billion dollars, is now one step closer to completion.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that on Tuesday, all 1,430 toilets and urinals were pressed simultaneously and all taps were running. The aim was to find out whether the sewage pipes could actually cope with the 65,000 fans.

The Pro Bowl can come
The Allegiant Stadium has a total of 297 WCs.

“We never want to have 60,000, 70,000 fans in the building and the sanitation facilities fail during one of these events,” said Julie Anmacker, director of the CCA Icon project. “That’s one of the last things we have to do before we’re ready for spectators.”

The Pro Bowl will be held in the Raiders’ new home in 2021.
