Dennis Schröder has publicly praised recovery four days after his arrest for assault.”We are all human beings.Everyone makes mistakes,”the Atlanta Hawks playmaker told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
He tries to “learn from it and earn the trust of my team-mates”, the 24-year-old said in his first statement since the incident.
General Manager Travis Schlenk said he was “disappointed that someone is putting himself in such a position.Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer presented himself in front of his Point Guard:”I think it’s an opportunity for him to learn.It will continue to grow.He has all the facilities to become a leader of our team.”
