NHL: Vanek about to enter next trade

Austria’s ice hockey star Thomas Vanek is apparently on the brink of his next move to the National Hockey League (NHL).

The Styrian was missing the Vancouver Canucks’ 3-1 away win over the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday evening. Since Vanek was not injured, there is every indication of a trade at the West Canada club. It would be the eighth team for the 34-year-old in the NHL.

With Michael Grabner, another Austrian has already been traded. The Villacher moved from the New York Rangers to the New Jersey Devils.
