Basketball: EuroCup: Bayern Munich starts into the quarter-finals with victory

Cup winner Bayern Munich started into the quarter-finals of the Eurocup with a victory. In a fiercely contested first game of the best-of-three series, the Bundesliga front runner won against the Russian top club Unics Kasan 83:75 (33:32). In front of 6239 spectators in the Audi Dome, including Bayern President Uli Hoeneß and world record scorer Miroslav Klose, Center Devin Booker was the best throwers of the hosts with 16 points.
